Advice for healing a broken heart

Hi there, I bet that you are feeling really down in the dumps at the moment, wishing that you had a magic cure to heal your broken heart and some of you will even be wondering what's the point of being in love in the first place, if you end up with is a broken heart?

Well, have I got good news for you. you've come to the right place for the right advice. I'm going to take that frown from your face and show you just how easy it is to actually turn it into a smile again. And best of all it won’t take us months or years to learn these tricks of the trade on how to heal your broken heart. Bear with me and you will see.

First of all what you need to do is to pull yourself together. Sit down in a quiet, peaceful place. (I'm lucky enough to live near the sea and go there for my "thinkingtime")

Take a few deep breaths and fill your lungs with fresh air. I believe it's the master formula to calming one in any situation. In this case it will definitely help you think more clearly about your situation.

Now you should be feeling comfortable and sitting peacefully and relaxed. You will then find it quite easily to open up your mind and dig deep into that broken heart of yours. What I find helps even better for me is if I close my eyes.

A calmness will come over you and now I want you to say the following to yourself. (You can read it off if you must)

I have the power within to overcome this broken heart.
My heart is open and I am true to myself in my judgment.
I myself am the answer to repairing this heart.
It is my heart and I will make it whole again.
I have faith in myself and I trust in myself.
I know that no other person can be responsible for my wellbeing.
I know that this is just a passing phase in my life and with time it will be something of the past.
The pain I feel at this moment is simply part of life’s journey.
I forgive the person whom I thought responsible for my heartacheas I now know, I am worth more than this feeling.
I am a wonderful human being and I am in control of my feelings.

Now read or say the above again, repeat 5 times, till you can feel these thoughts sinking in and actually touching your heart and soul. Can you feel it?

See, I told you, you would be smiling. A smile is magic, it sends feel good hormones out and it honestly does make one feel, even that tiny bit better.

This is simply a small part of a huge plan. It's the beginning of the journey. There is so much more out there. But all in all we came into the world alone and we will eventually die alone. So why use up your time to be sad or even feeling like your hearts been broken, when in fact you should be celebrating as you actually have the power and strength to heal your heart. Be thankful and enjoy life.
